Our Story

Since 2002

SEND Tutorz was established in 2002, initially working with young adults with educational needs.

Since then we have worked with children and young people from 3 to 21 in mainstream schools and Specialist SEND Provisions, in particular supporting those with varying degrees of SEND challenges. We then became a much sought after, academically published, expert provider in intervention teaching methods for mathematics, phonics and English Literacy and Language and the sciences amongst other things.

Our team has worked in SEND specialist provisions, mainstream schools and secure young persons' units providing children and young people with the educational opportunities they richly deserve.

We are a multi-faceted business working with students with disabilities and learning needs, supporting families and advising local authorities on SEND Intervention. We also work with severe trauma survivors and their case managers to perform educational assessments and reports to ensure they receive the support they need.

At SEND Tutorz we aim to personalise every session to meet the needs of our students, and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each session is flexible and designed to work with the student to not only complete their daily tasks, but guide them from novice to professional. We do that in the most effective way possible—mastering the subject area and building lifelong, professional confidence.
