ADHD Pile Method

"Struggling with paper clutter? You're not alone! Many individuals with ADHD face this challenge. Here are a few tips to help you

stay organized:

1️⃣ Create designated spaces for important documents.

2️⃣ Set reminders to regularly sort and file papers.

3️⃣ Digitize documents to reduce physical clutter.

4️⃣ Use color-coded folders or labels for easy identification.

Remember, small steps can make a big difference in managing paper chaos.

What’s the bigger solution to your paper problem? Stop treating each piece of paper in your home as something lifeless. Instead, see each as an action to take.

1️⃣ Sort: Begin by sorting through the paper pile and categorize them into different groups such as bills, important documents, to-do items, or reference materials.

2️⃣ Act: For each piece of paper, decide on the necessary action to take. It could be paying a bill, responding to a letter, filing for future reference, or discarding it.

3️⃣ Prioritize: Determine the urgency and importance of each action. Focus on the most critical tasks first to prevent feeling overwhelmed.

4️⃣ Create a system: Establish an organisational system that works for you. It could include labelled folders, a filing cabinet, or digitising documents using a scanner or app.

5️⃣ Schedule: Set aside dedicated time regularly to address and process the paper clutter. Create reminders or use a planner to stay on track.

Remember, consistency is key. By treating each piece of paper as an action, you can gradually overcome your paper clutter and maintain an organized environment. #PaperOrganization #ADHD #ActionBasedApproach
